Puglia v. Elk Pipeline, Inc.

Ravi Sattiraju successfully argued before the New Jersey Supreme Court in the matter of Puglia v. Elk Pipeline, Inc. as an amicus curiae, or “friend of the court,” for the New Jersey Association of Justice. The Supreme Court ruled that a whistleblower plaintiff’s claims under the Conscientious Employee Protection Act (“CEPA”) were not preempted by federal law, thus permitting the plaintiff’s claim to proceed under New Jersey’s expansive employee protection laws. The Sattiraju & Tharney, LLP has significant experience experience in whistleblower cases and welcomes the opportunity to fight for your rights.
